Youngstown State University held its 11th annual Regional Pi Mu Epsilon Conference on February 21, 2009.  120 students and faculty from fifteen schools attended the conference.  Forty-six students gave talks on various topics of research, eight of which discussed topics in mathematical biology.  In addition, four teams discussed their papers from COMAP's recent Mathematical Modeling Competition.  Conference details and the 2009 program can be found at http://www.math.ysu.edu/pme/conferences/archive.php.
